Rules Approved for Virgen Blanca Festival Poster Competition

The competition, organized by the Culture Department, will award 2,000 euros to the winner and 500 euros to each finalist.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz Culture Department has approved the rules for the 2026 Virgen Blanca Festival poster competition, with artists able to submit their work between April 13 and April 24.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz Culture Department has officially approved the guidelines for the 2026 Virgen Blanca Festival poster competition. Artists interested in participating must submit a portfolio containing between 3 and 5 illustrations or designs, with at least two of these being posters. These posters can be previous works or simulations, provided they are no older than three years.
The submission period for applications begins this Monday, April 13, and concludes on April 24. Submissions can be made at the Citizen Service Offices, through the electronic headquarters, and via other legally established methods in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
On May 15, the five portfolios selected as finalists will be announced. These finalists will then be required to create a poster proposal and submit it before June 1. The winning poster will be chosen from these proposals, and the decision will be communicated to the author on June 12. The winning proposal will receive a prize of 2,000 euros, and each finalist will be awarded 500 euros.
