The Jazz Vital series in Vitoria-Gasteiz will celebrate its tenth anniversary during May and June, featuring three intimate concerts and an open-air big band festival in the Virgen Blanca square.

The Jazz Vital series is celebrating a decade of existence in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and it is doing so in the best possible way: with live music. This initiative, promoted by Fundación Vital, will offer three concerts and an outdoor gathering, reinforcing the presence of jazz in the city.
The program will be spread across May and June at Arkabia, the foundation's new cultural space. Attendance for each concert will cost 4 euros.
On May 7, the Nerea Arrieta Trío will open the series at 7:30 PM, with a simple piano, drums, and double bass format. On May 14, the Mané group will take the stage with eight musicians, blending jazz with Afro-Caribbean music. On June 7, Andrea Cabezuelo will close the concert series, presenting a warm mix of jazz and Latin sounds.

"Jazz Vital turns ten years old and celebrates it the best way it knows how: with live music."

The anniversary celebration will not be limited to indoor venues. On May 31, the Virgen Blanca square will host the Big Band Eguna. Several big bands will perform live, outdoors, and with free admission, offering an accessible plan without rigid schedules. For now, the names of the participating groups have not been revealed, although the organizers have indicated that they will be “prominent big bands”.
