A new attempted robbery of a gold chain occurred in the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The victim, despite being physically assaulted, managed to prevent the theft of the jewelry.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon, around 8:00 PM. A call alerted the Local Police, requesting a patrol to Obispo Ballester street, where a citizen had prevented the theft of their chain. Upon the officers' arrival, the victim recounted encountering three men, one of whom asked for a street. Suddenly, this individual grabbed the victim by the neck and jacket, and tripped them.

After a struggle, the victim successfully avoided the robbery, while the assailant fled with his two companions. However, thanks to the description provided, officers located them on the nearby Valladolid street. The alleged perpetrator, aged 26, was arrested and is accused of attempted robbery with violence or intimidation.
