The Aldabe street in Vitoria-Gasteiz was the setting this Sunday for the second edition of the Errota Anitza solidarity race. The 5.8-kilometer event once again combined sport and solidarity, in a day that also served to pay homage to Julio Roca, a figure known to many in Vitoria as "The People's Photographer".
Part of the race's registration fees are donated to the CTNNB1 association, dedicated to research and support for people with rare diseases. The organizers aimed to highlight the career and commitment of Julio Roca, who for years has captured the life of the city and maintained close ties with groups linked to functional diversity.
In the sporting category, Adrián Pajares took first place in the men's division, followed by Kepa Ayesta and Abderrahim. In the veterans' category, Alain Martínez secured the top spot. Among the women, Nahia López de Aguileta achieved the best time, with Izaro Blanco, the world kickboxing runner-up, in second place and Ariana Carrascal in third. Noeli Rodríguez was the first classified in the women's veterans category.
