The children's playground at Araba park will be equipped with a translucent canopy next year. The municipal government is set to approve the project today, which has a budget of 445,696 euros.

The structure will cover 300 square meters of the Araba park, providing shelter from adverse weather conditions. The design consists of a light grey steel structure supported by 12 circular posts.
The canopy will use translucent polycarbonate panels to maintain natural light. The project also includes upgrades to the flooring, led-based artificial lighting, and a perimeter gutter system for water drainage.
The tender for the construction is expected in the coming months. With a four-month execution period, the canopy is scheduled to be completed throughout 2027.
