The Board of Directors of Cyberzaintza, the Basque Cybersecurity Agency, held its first meeting of 2026, presided over by Bingen Zupiria, the Minister of Security. He was accompanied by Joana Egiluz, Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, and Javier Dieguez, Director General of Cyberzaintza.

The meeting took place at Cyberzaintza's headquarters in the Álava Technology Park. During the session, the activity report and the budgetary compliance report for 2025 were approved. These documents detail the Agency's management and performance over the previous year.

Furthermore, the meeting served to monitor the Agency's ongoing activities and to present the Action Plan for 2026. This plan outlines the objectives and strategies for the coming months, aiming to strengthen cybersecurity in the Basque Country.
