Furthermore, it hinders the proper management and conservation of a protected natural area, impacting visitor experience and compliance with environmental regulations.
The purpose of these types of infrastructures is to improve the visitor experience, facilitate compliance with environmental regulations, and reduce human impact on the natural environment; therefore, their destruction harms all citizens.
The provincial institution has initiated the necessary steps to assess the extent of the damage, proceed with the removal of the equipment for safety reasons, and explore possible replacement measures. The facts have also been reported to the competent authorities for appropriate action.
