Women's Race Vitoria-Gasteiz 2026: Schedule, Route, and Categories

The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz will turn pink on May 31st for a new edition of the Women's Race. The 5-kilometer route can be completed running or walking, starting and finishing at the Mendizabala parking lot.

The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz will turn pink this Sunday, May 31st, for a new edition of the Women's Race. The Basque capital will host the third event of the XXII Women's Race Circuit, which began in March in Gran Canaria and will conclude in November in Barcelona.
The route, which can be completed running or walking, will be 5 kilometers long and will have its start and finish at the Mendizabala parking lot. The start is scheduled for 10:30 AM.
The urban route will pass through Mendizabala, Portal de Lasarte, Paseo Salbatierrabide, Rosalía de Castro, Portal de Castilla, Ramón y Cajal, Paseo de la Senda, Manuel Iradier, Puente San Cristobal, Heraclio Fournier, Paseo de la Universidad, Paseo de Fray Francisco de Vitoria, and back to Portal de Lasarte, with the finish line in Mendizabala.
The collection of the t-shirt, along with the race bib-chip and gift bag, will take place on Saturday, May 30th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abetxuko Fronton. Participants must present their registration confirmation email, ID card, or registration receipt, either printed or in digital format.
The organization does not guarantee the requested t-shirt size, as production occurs before registration opens. T-shirt sizes will be distributed strictly in order of bib-chip collection.
On Saturday, May 30th, there will also be free sports activities for all audiences at the stage in the Abetxuko fronton (Plaza Mayor, 9), where the race fair will be located. The program includes 'Zumba' (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM), 'Combat' (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM), and 'Baila Baila' (1:00 PM - 1:45 PM).
The race features numerous categories, both individual and team-based. Individual categories include overall, age groups (from 8 years old), athletes with disabilities, and wheelchair athletes. Team categories encompass family members, friends, gyms, companies, and schools, among others.
