The Ensanche XIX association will distribute free geraniums to adorn several balconies in the center of Vitoria-Gasteiz and organize a balcony contest to make the city bloom this spring.

As part of the various activities carried out by the Ensanche XIX association, an initiative has been launched this spring to decorate several balconies in the center of the Alavese capital. Today, Tuesday, April 23, the selected residential communities that will participate in this project will be announced.

From the association, we have selected several residential communities with very visible facades and high pedestrian traffic. We will give them completely free geraniums to place on their balconies.

The entity explains that communities with highly visible facades and significant pedestrian traffic have been chosen. Stickers will be placed on the selected building entrances today, Tuesday, April 23, to announce the initiative. The distribution of the plants is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, April 23, although prior contact with the association will be necessary to confirm the exact times.
The goal of this action is for each balcony to be adorned and covered with flowers. The association aims for “the Ensanche of Vitoria-Gasteiz to flourish this spring.” Additionally, a balcony contest will be held at the end of May. These small gestures seek to revitalize the central area of the Alavese capital.
