The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council will illuminate the City Hall's facade in green this Sunday, marking World Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Day to provide visibility and support for affected individuals.

In a statement, the council announced its participation in the campaign organized by the Association of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis of Álava, ADELA, under the hashtag #LuzporlaELA.
ADELA aims to inform and raise awareness about ALS, described as one of the most "devastating" diseases individuals and families can face. The condition primarily affects people between 40 and 70 years old, with a higher prevalence in men.
