The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council will activate the orange alert of the Heat Plan this Sunday, July 12, due to persistent high temperatures. Maximums are forecast to be around 36ºC.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council will activate the orange alert of the Heat Plan throughout Sunday, July 12, due to persistent high temperatures. According to meteorological forecasts, temperatures will hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
Furthermore, this Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, persistent high temperatures are also expected, leading to the activation of a yellow alert. Maximum temperatures could range between 34-36 degrees Celsius.
With the activation of these alerts, the municipal resources outlined in the intervention plan will be deployed. These include services such as Public Health, Sports, Social Policies, Education, Sustainability, Climate and Energy, Citizen Attention and Transparency, Communication, Prevention, Fire Extinction and Rescue, Local Police, Civic Centers, Public Space, Maintenance, Youth, and Tourism.
