With the arrival of good weather, bus services from Vitoria-Gasteiz to the Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir are enhanced, connecting the areas of Garaio, Landa, Ullibarri, and Arroiabe.

As the good weather arrives, the bathing areas of the Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir are once again among the most sought-after destinations near Vitoria-Gasteiz. Garaio, Landa, Ullibarri, and Arroiabe are connected by bus services from the Alava capital, although not all have the same schedules or operate during the same periods.
The connection to Garaio is made via line 4 Vitoria-Gasteiz – Narbaiza. The stop in Garaio is only operational between June 1st and September 15th. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. From Monday to Friday, departures from Vitoria-Gasteiz are at 14:00h and 15:40h, while on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a single departure at 13:30h. In the opposite direction, the bus leaves Garaio for Vitoria-Gasteiz around 19:32h (weekdays) and 17:57h (weekends). A standard ticket costs 2 euros, with discounts available for large families. BAT, Mugi, and Barik cards are also accepted.
To travel to Landa, Ullibarri, and Arroiabe, the reference line is DG05D, connecting Vitoria-Gasteiz with these areas during the week and also on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Departures from Vitoria-Gasteiz range from 05:55h to 20:30h with various frequencies. The bus stops at Arroiabe, Ullibarri, and Landa at regular intervals. On weekends and holidays, the frequency is every 120 minutes for a large part of the day.
Using the bus to reach the reservoir can help avoid parking issues. In Garaio and Landa, parking outside designated areas is prohibited, a rule that is particularly enforced in summer with surveillance by Miñones and Ertzaintza. Parking on verges, roads, or meadows may result in a fine. Two specific free areas are available for motorhomes and caravans.
