These changes follow the resignation of Beatriz Artolazabal from her councilor position, formalized this morning during an extraordinary plenary session. Artolazabal is beginning a new chapter as a regional senator and spokesperson for the Basque Group in the Senate. During her farewell speech, Artolazabal thanked political groups, her government colleagues, and municipal workers for their shared work over the years, advocating for politics based on respect, dialogue, and the ability to reach agreements.
In her final words as a councilor, Artolazabal stated she leaves "grateful for having been able to contribute and, above all, with full confidence in Vitoria-Gasteiz and in the people who make it advance every day."
