The fashion chain Primark has announced a 40 million euro investment in Spain, aimed at opening new stores and comprehensively renovating part of its current network, including the El Boulevard store in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Fashion retailer Primark has unveiled a 40 million euro investment plan for Spain, focusing on modernizing and expanding its store network. As part of this strategy, the establishment located in the El Boulevard Shopping Center in Vitoria-Gasteiz is slated for a significant renovation in the coming months.
The company has confirmed that the capital of Álava is among the eleven cities where sales spaces will undergo improvements. This decision reflects the brand's commitment to reinvesting in its premises to enhance the customer shopping experience. In Vitoria's case, the El Boulevard store is a commercial benchmark in the region, and its update coincides with the 20th anniversary of the brand's arrival in the Spanish market.
Alongside the capital of Álava, other cities such as Pamplona, Santander, Zaragoza, and Santiago de Compostela will also see their facilities updated. This investment plan aims to maintain the brand's competitiveness in a market where it already boasts dozens of sales points and continues to expand.
In addition to the renovations in northern Spain, Primark will soon open a new store in Talavera de la Reina, which will become the company's 68th store in Spain. This expansion, coupled with the brand's plans in Portugal —where it will invest an additional 45 million euros—, is expected to create over 300 new jobs. Job vacancies, including management positions and full-time and part-time sales assistants, are already available through the company's official channels. The investment in Spain and Portugal solidifies the chain's growth, which has now been present in the Portuguese territory for 17 years.
