The streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz and Armentia will come alive with music from April 24 to 30, as part of the San Prudencio and Nuestra Señora de Estíbaliz Festivities. The program will encompass various genres, from a Bruno Mars tribute to blues rock, Basque music, popular verbena, alternative rock, and an 80s party by Los 40 Classic. Concerts will be held across Plaza de la Provincia, Plaza del Arca, and the fields of Armentia.
The first major concert will take place on Friday, April 24, following the opening proclamation of the festivities in Plaza de la Provincia. The day will conclude with Bruno On The Floor, a tribute to Bruno Mars, marking the official start of the festive program.
On Saturday, April 25, A Contra Blues will perform in Plaza de la Provincia between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM. This will be one of the main musical highlights of the weekend in central Vitoria-Gasteiz. Music will continue on Sunday, April 26, with the opening of the Euskal Gunea in Plaza del Arca, featuring a concert by Muxutruk at 9:00 PM. This venue will host further performances in the following days.
One of the most extensive musical segments will occur on Monday, April 27, during the Retreta de San Prudencio. Plaza de la Provincia will host performances by A Contra Blues, Kantaberri Abesbatza, Mala Brigo, and Artea Teatro Musical. In the early hours, the Euskal Gunea will feature a popular verbena with Joselu Anaiak in Plaza del Arca.
On the main day of San Prudencio, Tuesday, April 28, music will also extend to Armentia. The fields will host a concert by Txapela Brava at 6:00 PM, followed by a performance by Aldaia Larrein at 9:00 PM. The musical program will continue on Wednesday, April 29, with Jonkass in Plaza del Arca, as part of the Euskal Gunea. A day later, on Thursday, April 30, Plaza de la Provincia will be the setting for one of the most popular acts on the bill: Los 40 Classic, with Mónica Ordóñez leading an 80s party scheduled between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
