The partial closure of the car park began today, Monday, May 4th, at 06:00 AM, and will continue until Tuesday, May 12th, at 11:59 PM. During this initial phase, most of the parking area will be inaccessible, though access to two specific zones will be maintained.

From Wednesday, May 13th, at 00:00 AM, the Mendizabala car park will be completely closed. This full closure will remain in effect until Sunday, May 24th, at 10:00 PM, covering the days leading up to the festival, the BatBatean event itself, and subsequent dismantling work.

This measure will significantly impact a heavily used parking area in Gasteiz, particularly for those visiting Mendizorrotza, Mendizabala, the BAKH sports center, the university area, and nearby facilities.

The BatBatean Festival, promoted by Jimmy Jazz Ekoizpenak, is a new musical event holding its first edition in Mendizabala. The festival will feature a diverse program including rock, punk, rap, ska, electronic music, and cumbia, bringing together dozens of bands and DJs across multiple stages.
