Vitoria-Gasteiz will be filled with flowers, music, and activities from May 22-24 with the third edition of the Flower Festival.

The center of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be adorned with flowers, music, and activities in the coming days, specifically from May 22 to May 24. This third edition promises to fill the city with color and a special atmosphere, featuring over 30 proposals for all ages. Local businesses, hospitality establishments, and service companies will participate with their own initiatives.
The official inauguration will take place on Friday, May 22, at 7:00 PM in Plaza de España, accompanied by music from Sonia Vera Swing Band. Following this, at 7:30 PM, a pintxo tasting will be offered. To extend the celebration, three DJs –DJ Katana, DJ Demi Rosi, and Mia Salvador– will provide music until 12:00 AM.
The street will be the main protagonist of the festival. Throughout the weekend, various sculptures and shop windows in the center of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be transformed with the addition of flowers and plants. The result will be an open-air exhibition that will completely alter the appearance of some of the city's most well-known spots. The decorations will be visible from Friday at 7:00 PM until Sunday at 2:00 PM and will be distributed across Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, Plaza General Loma, La Florida Park, Calle Prado, Plaza del Arca, and Calle Dato.
Several entities and florists will collaborate in the floral decoration. ASAFES will be responsible for embellishing the monument to the Battle of Vitoria, while Floristería Angelines will decorate the statue of Celedón. The vegetal sculpture will be created by the Municipal Urban Landscape Unit, the Olárizu Botanical Garden, Garaion Gorgingunea, and participants from CEA workshops. Additionally, El Secreto de las Hadas will adorn the niche of the Virgen Blanca. In Plaza General Loma, Floristería Arantza will transform the sculpture 'La Mirada'. In La Florida Park, Munain will decorate the statue of Wynton Marsalis, and Egibide will decorate the statue of Manuel Iradier. Muscari Floristas will add flowers to the sculpture 'Eusko Europazaleak' on Calle Prado. CIFP Agrario Arkaute will decorate 'El Caminante', the Taer Solar collective will embellish the sculpture in Plaza del Arca, and Floristería Kerkus will handle the statues 'Reflexión' or 'El Torero'.
Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite monument via a QR code, thus participating in a raffle for 5 Regala Gasteiz gift cards worth 50 euros each. The festival will also offer guided tours to discover the floral proposals in shops, available in Spanish and Basque: Friday 22 at 7:00 PM (Spanish), Saturday 23 at 10:45 AM, 12:30 PM, and 7:00 PM (Spanish), and at 5:15 PM (Basque). Local businesses and entities in the center will also decorate facades and shop windows.
