The Ertzaintza has arrested an 18-year-old in the Lakua neighborhood of Vitoria-Gasteiz, accused of drug trafficking, after seizing various substances and cash.

The Ertzaintza-Etxea (police station) had received information that drug transactions were taking place in a residence in the Lakua neighborhood. Consequently, on Friday afternoon, a surveillance operation was established in the vicinity of the building's entrance.
During this operation, it was observed that individuals approached the entrance and, after making a phone call, the resident would come down to the portal to conduct exchanges. In one of these transactions, a patrol unit intercepted a buyer carrying a piece of pressed brown substance, apparently hashish, leading to a proposed sanction.
In response to these events, officers proceeded to identify the suspect, who handed over:
  • 96 grams of hashish.
  • A small quantity of marijuana.
  • Two precision scales.
  • 820 euros in cash.
The 18-year-old Spanish national was subsequently arrested for drug trafficking and taken to police facilities for the relevant proceedings.
