An individual was arrested in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the early hours of Monday after attempting to rob a psychology office in the city center, with an alarm leading to their capture.

An Ertzaintza patrol apprehended an individual in the early hours of Monday while they were attempting to rob a psychology office located in downtown Vitoria-Gasteiz. The activation of an intrusion alarm was crucial for the police intervention.
The incident occurred shortly before 02:30 AM on Monday. A citizen protection unit, conducting surveillance in the city center, responded to the alarm. Upon arrival, they observed an individual exiting through one of the office windows.
Upon seeing the police, the intruder attempted to flee quickly but was intercepted nearby. Officers identified the individual and confirmed that the window showed signs of forced entry. Following the necessary checks, the 56-year-old man was arrested for an alleged crime of robbery with force.
Among the detainee's possessions, a sum of money was found, presumably stolen from the psychology office. He was then taken to police facilities for the relevant proceedings, and after their completion, he will be brought before judicial authorities.
