Four arrests in Vitoria-Gasteiz on Tuesday for violence and theft

Local Police arrested four individuals in Vitoria-Gasteiz on Tuesday across four separate incidents, involving charges of violence, assault, and theft.

Local Police arrested four individuals in Vitoria-Gasteiz on Tuesday across four separate incidents, involving charges of violence, assault, and theft.

Vitoria-Gasteiz saw four arrests by the Local Police on Tuesday across four distinct incidents. In the first case, two men aged 19 and 30 were apprehended near La Florida park, accused of violently stealing a gold chain. Three youths alerted a Local Police patrol to the event.
Another intervention occurred in the Hortaleza and Palencia area. There, a 42-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were detained after being found injured following an argument inside a car. Both were arrested for assault within the context of gender-based and domestic violence.
On Simón de Anda street, a 29-year-old man was arrested following an incident in a communal garage. According to the Local Police, he assaulted officers and caused injuries during the identification process. He faces charges of assaulting law enforcement officers.
Additionally, two other arrests were made: one in Portal de Gamarra, where a 21-year-old youth was apprehended due to an outstanding judicial warrant; and another in Plaza de la Constitución, where a 30-year-old man was arrested for the theft of a mobile phone, which was later recovered and returned to its owner.
In addition to these arrests, the Local Police processed 23 complaints with the Judicial Police, including petty theft, assault, damage, bicycle theft, fraud, robbery with violence, and a complaint for gender-based and domestic violence.
