The Board of Directors of the Municipal Urban Development Company Ensanche 21 has decided to launch a tender for the sale of a plot located in sector 12 of Arkaiate, intended to accommodate a maximum of 143 regulated housing units. The plot spans 3,319 square meters and is situated on Arakaiabidea street.
The total buildable area above ground level is 11,224 square meters for collective regulated residential use. Additionally, it will include a 670 square meter commercial space for tertiary use, as explained by Borja Rodríguez, president of Ensanche 21.
Companies interested in acquiring the plot can submit their offers until December 18. A minimum price of 5,750,000 euros (excluding VAT) has been set for the transaction.
All homes built on this plot must achieve at least an energy rating of B. Furthermore, the successful bidder must develop a proposal that adheres to the established urban planning conditions for the plot and aligns with the European Green Taxonomy, executing at least 75% of the residential buildability in a construction project that meets this alignment.
Rodríguez stated that this entails "meeting demanding criteria for energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, responsible resource use, climate change adaptation, and environmental protection." He added that "the Green Taxonomy drives more efficient, resilient construction aligned with the transition towards a low-carbon economy."
In addition to the Arkaiate plot tender, Ensanche 21 also has an ongoing sale process for a plot in sector 2 of Zabalgana, intended for the construction of up to 137 regulated housing units. The deadline for offers for this plot is October 16.
