The Salburua Wetlands Interpretation Centre, Ataria, is hosting the exhibition ‘Álava imaginaria’ this year, as part of the ArabaClick photography festival.

This exhibition invites visitors to discover new ways of seeing and narrating reality through photography, bringing diverse stories, territories, and sensibilities to the public. It showcases the work of five visual creators who have transformed their photographic outings into exercises of intimate exploration, capturing the essence of Álava's landscapes and biodiversity.
Borja Rodríguez, the Councillor for the Environment, highlighted that "it is an excellent opportunity to delve into the creative richness of our surroundings and to recognize the talent of those who find in images a tool for expression, for interpreting the world, and for sharing their perspectives".
Visitors can admire the photographic series presented by Eder Santos, Pascual de Haro, Maryge Rosado, Iñaki Reguero, and Samuel Torres. Their works offer a realistic journey through Álava's fauna and geography under the changing light of day, encouraging appreciation for Álava's natural wealth through the sensitivity of those who walk and photograph it.
The exhibition will be open to the public until November 15th, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
This year, the photography festival in Álava features seventeen exhibition spaces, with 64 artists showcasing their work throughout October and November. The event is organized by the Colectivo Revelare, sponsored by Fundación Vital, and supported by the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, the Provincial Council of Álava, the Jardín Remoto Photography School, and the FTG – Gorbea 41 cultural space.
On October 31st, the main ArabaClick gala will take place in Arkabia. During the event, the winners of the six training scholarships from the Jardín Remoto school and the recipients of the monetary prizes will be announced. Additionally, the ‘Premio Revelare’ will be presented, honoring the careers of notable figures from Álava in the field of photography.
