Aitzina Folk Festival and Feminist School Program to be Presented in Vitoria-Gasteiz

Cultural and equality events will be presented on September 15th at the Montehermoso Palace and the City Hall press room.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council will hold two official presentations on Tuesday, September 15th: the new edition of the Aitzina Folk festival and the program for the School of Feminist Empowerment for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The presentation of the Aitzina Folk festival will take place at 10:30 AM at the Palacio de Montehermoso. Attendees will include Sonia Diaz de Corcuera, Councilor for Culture; Ana del Val, Deputy for Culture; Andoni Iturbe, Vice-Minister of Culture of the Basque Government; Patxi Villén, Festival Director; Eduardo Fernández de Pinedo, from Fundación Vital; Kepa Ortiz de Urbina, head of social action at Laboral Kutxa; and Xabier Zeberio, member of Alos Quartet.
Subsequently, at 11:00 AM, the program for the School of Feminist Empowerment for the 2026-2027 academic year will be presented in the press room of the City Hall. Ana López de Uralde, Councilor for Equality of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, will participate in this event.
