Vitoria-Gasteiz has organized a rich weekend of events for the upcoming days, May 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Taking advantage of the warm weather, the city will host various happenings, including the third edition of the Festival de las Flores (Flower Festival), a concert by Camela, and the ninth edition of the Afrika Gasteiz initiative.

The Festival de las Flores will bring color to the city this weekend with floral displays and activities throughout the center of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Additionally, the swimming pools at Mendizorrotza and Gamarra will open on Friday, May 22nd, marking the start of the summer season.

In the cultural sphere, the Teatro Félix Petite Antzokia will present the play Viejos tiempos (Old Times) by Harold Pinter on Saturday. Furthermore, Afrika Gasteiz will celebrate African culture in La Florida Park with concerts, workshops, and exhibitions.

Among other highlights, Camela will perform at the Buesa Arena on Saturday, and singer Idoia will present her latest show at Izaskun Arrue Kulturgunea. The Coronación neighborhood will celebrate its local festivals, and comedian David Puerto will offer his show on Sunday at the Teatro Federico García Lorca.

Additionally, Mendizorrotza will transform into a fan zone on Saturday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Dortmund final. Arabadendak and Ortzadar LGBTI+ Elkartea will host a festive event to promote the commitment of local businesses to LGBTI+ rights.
