AFARABA, the Association for Alzheimer's and other dementias, has won the ONCE's 'Golden Bell' award in Vitoria-Gasteiz, recognizing its social work.

AFARABA, the Association for Alzheimer's and other dementias in Álava, has been named the winner of the ONCE's 'Golden Bell' award in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The award was decided through an online popular vote held in recent weeks, aiming to highlight the "intense social work" carried out by the entity.
The association will receive the award this Saturday, following the XXIX 'Carrera de Cascabeles' (Bell Race) organized by ONCE Euskadi. The event will take place at 11:00 AM in Plaza Santa Bárbara, under the slogan 'Technology with inclusion-TECNOINCLUSIÓN'.
The popular race aims to invite citizens to experience the reality of blind individuals by participating in an urban route wearing a blindfold and being guided by another person. The goal is to "raise awareness" among the public about the experiences of people with visual impairments and foster an inclusive society.
