The Environmental Studies Centre (CEA) of Vitoria-Gasteiz opens today the application period for the use of a municipal plot in the Huertas de Urarte, located in the Zadorra Park of the Anillo Verde.

This municipal facility, dedicated to ecological horticulture, was launched in 2007 to meet the growing demand for cultivation plots from Vitoria's citizens. “Throughout its history, we have granted over 1,000 authorizations for plot use. In this call, we will offer access to 50 gardens that can be used for a maximum of four years,” announced the Councillor for the Environment, Borja Rodríguez.
Requirements to access the gardens include being of legal age, being registered in the municipal census, and not having had authorization to use a municipal plot in the two years prior to the publication date of this call.
“

"We encourage Vitoria's residents to participate in the draw to cultivate their own garden in our city's Anillo Verde. It is a unique opportunity to develop ecological horticulture without leaving the capital of Alava, and to consume healthy and sustainable products"

Borja Rodríguez · Councillor for the Environment
Those wishing to access one of these plots can submit their application until November 30. Applications must be submitted at the San Martín Municipal Technical Offices, the Municipal Citizen Attention Offices, or online via the municipal website: www.vitoria-gasteiz.org.
