A central moment was a discussion with women's football personalities, featuring players like Adriana Nanclares of Athletic Club, Laura Navajas of Las Gloriosas, and elite referees Olatz Rivera and Haizea Castresana. In the afternoon, former players and coaches linked to Deportivo Alavés, such as Martín Herrera and Javi Barbero, took center stage in a session highlighting the evolution of football in the province.
The club's president, Raúl Junguitu Angulo, emphasizes that Lantarón was founded with the idea of "building community through football" in a rural setting where sports served as a meeting point. "Today, the club has 18 teams, along with tennis and padel sections, consolidating a broad sports and social project with Javier Alfonso's support," he stated.
Junguitu also highlighted the intergenerational nature of the entity: "Many people have passed through here and left part of their lives. It's important that today they reunite, remember, and feel proud of what they helped build." In his view, the club "not only forms footballers but also lifelong bonds."
The day also featured an adapted football match with teams like Deportivo Alavés Genuine and CD Mirandés Genuine, alongside activities for all ages and an exhibition of the club's historical material.
The anniversary is part of a broader program of events that will continue through 2026, including a commemorative documentary currently being filmed, which will review the club's evolution from its origins to the present day.
