Zumaia and Arraun Lagunak stand out in weekend regattas

Rowing clubs Zumaia and Arraun Lagunak have had a competitive weekend in the Bilbao and Saint-Jean-de-Luz regattas, significantly impacting the current trainera league standings.

In the VII Bilbao Flag, part of the Euskotren League, Arraun Lagunak secured victory for the fifth consecutive year. The race was held in a time-trial format, with Zumaia finishing in fifth place.
Meanwhile, the fourth race of the KAE 1 League took place in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Zumaia achieved a strong second-place finish, ahead of Zarautz in third. Deustu took the win, while Orio finished in eleventh place.
Following these results, Arraun Lagunak remains at the top of the Euskotren League. In the KAE 1 League, Deustu continues to lead the overall standings, followed by Zarautz and Zumaia, who are currently tied on points.
