The Zarautz City Council has concluded the renovation works on the Itxasmendi tennis courts. This initiative was driven by a proposal from the Itxasmendi Neighborhood Association and aligns with the municipal commitment to "improve sports facilities in the neighborhoods".

Inaxio Illarramendi (PSE-EE), the Councilor for Sports, stated that the intervention exemplifies "how we want to work: by listening to the neighborhoods and responding to specific proposals that improve the daily lives of Zarautz residents".

Furthermore, the councilor emphasized that the Zarautz City Council's goal is to continue promoting "local, well-maintained, and accessible sports spaces that allow for practicing sports in quality public areas".

Illarramendi recalled that Zarautz possesses a "great sporting culture" and assured that the City Council will continue to improve municipal facilities, including those in the neighborhoods. He added, "the renovation of these tennis courts is another step forward in that direction".
