Eñaut Urreisti, the forward from Mutriku, has taken the lead in the Jai Alai League standings after his triumph in the Cesta All Star in Donibane Lohizune, where he secured the title again with Thibault Basque, overtaking Aritz Erkiaga.

Urreisti has ascended to the top position in the Jai Alai League standings following his victory this Tuesday in the Cesta All Star held in Donibane Lohizune. In this event, the Mutriku forward repeated his championship win alongside Thibault Basque, solidifying his leading status.
The Individual finalist, who had previously defeated favorite Aritz Erkiaga in the semifinals, now boasts 7,820 points. This achievement places Urreisti ahead of the Ispaster forward, who holds 7,350 points. Following them in the rankings are Unai Lekerika (7,150 points), Johan Sorozabal (6,190 points), and Thibault Basque (5,800 points).
Urreisti delivered an outstanding performance at Campos Berri to claim the All Star victory. The tournament, decided by quinielas, a format that benefits younger players who adapt better to rotations, saw Jon Tambourindeguy and Oyhenard initially take a lead with ten points. At that point, Urreisti-Basque and Erkiaga-Gorka had three points each, while Bixente-Atain had none.
The eventual champions then began to accumulate points, leaving Tambour and Oyhenard stalled at fourteen points. Urreisti dominated the match until the final score of 34. The pairs from Iparralde finished in second place with 22 points, while Erkiaga-Gorka and Bixente-Atain tied with twelve points each.
