The Accor group will open a new 77-room hotel in June at the Sansinenea industrial park in Zestoa, located next to the AP-8 motorway exit and just a few kilometers from Zumaia.

The hotel capacity in Gipuzkoa is set to grow next month with the launch of a new Ibis Styles property. The hotel is located in the Sansinenea industrial area in Zestoa, providing easy access from the AP-8 motorway and situated only three kilometers from Zumaia.
The 77 rooms feature a unique aesthetic inspired by Basque mythology and the local landscape. Bed headboards reflect the Zumaia flysch, and each room is equipped with a distinctive 100-kilogram lamp. The facility also includes three meeting rooms and an 800-square-meter terrace for various events.
Management emphasizes the hotel's strategic location for both business travelers and tourists moving between San Sebastián and Bilbao. The site also offers electric vehicle charging stations and features the Jentilak restaurant, aiming to attract visitors with a high-quality culinary offering.
This development reflects a shift in Gipuzkoa's tourism landscape. While Donostia has seen a slowdown in new hotel openings, coastal areas and Donostialdea are experiencing a rise in new hospitality establishments.
