The ‘Fishing and Gastronomy’ activity series, organized ahead of the Parrilla Fest, will have its second event on Wednesday, September 30th, with a cooking workshop titled ‘Recipes with local fish’ at 19:00 in the Aldapa society.

The session will focus on local fish, exploring various recipes for its preparation. The workshop aims to showcase the culinary uses of local fish and highlight the connection between the town's marine heritage and its gastronomy.
The workshop is free of charge, but due to limited capacity, pre-registration at the tourism office is essential.
This workshop is one of the events organized prior to the Parrilla Fest, scheduled from October 2nd to 4th. A key objective of the festival is to promote and pass down Orio's gastronomic heritage through generations, and in line with this, the City Council has arranged several sessions to expand knowledge about fishing and gastronomy.
The first session in this series, a talk titled ‘The Confraternity Building Turns 100’, was held on September 23rd, presented by Jon Agirresarobe and Pedro Miguel Uranga.
