The Zumaia rowing teams competed today in the Lekeitio Ikurriña regatta, held in the waters of Lekeitio (Bizkaia). Despite not achieving victory, both teams put in a good effort. The women's team secured third place, while the men's team finished the race in seventh position.

Orio proved dominant in both categories. On a day with variable weather, the wind impacted the race. The women had to complete two lengths and one turn. Zumaia took 12 minutes and 18 seconds to cross the finish line, trailing behind Orio (11:58) and Hibaika (12:12).

In the men's race, the challenge involved four lengths and three turns. Here too, Orio's trainera was the fastest, finishing with a time of 21:45.27. San Juan came in second (21:54.40), and Zarautz third (21:56.00). Zumaia crossed the finish line in seventh place (22:36.00).
