Getaria Town Council will offer four new job positions for young people as part of Lanbide's 2026 funding call. The contracts, lasting 12 months, will strengthen municipal services and promote youth employment.

As in previous years, the Council has secured funding from Lanbide to hire four young people for a period of 12 months. These hires will bolster work in the areas of urban planning, secretariat, administration, and tourism and culture.
The positions offered include: a technical architect or surveyor for urban planning, a general administration technician for the secretariat, a reception administrator, and a general administration technician for tourism and culture. Each role will have specific qualification and competency requirements, including a C1 level of Basque.
The four positions will have a duration of 12 months, full-time, from 08:00 to 15:00. The gross monthly salary will be €1,999.50 for the urban planning, secretariat, and tourism and culture roles, and €1,571.04 for the reception administrator. Salaries will be paid in 14 installments.
The deadline for applications is November 6. Interested individuals can consult the offers and information about the selection process through Lanbide.
Getaria Town Council has received a grant of €146,613.99 from Lanbide, within the framework of the Basque Government's EGF Plus 2021-2027 program, as part of the 2026 call for local entities to hire young people. This funding will enable the Council to promote employment opportunities for young people and strengthen the technical and administrative support essential for daily municipal operations.
