The Getaria City Council has initiated the participatory budget process for 2027, encouraging citizens to present ideas and proposals for the municipality's future.

Residents of Getaria can submit their proposals for next year's budget until October 26th. The period for contributions will be open from October 14th to 26th, and proposals can be submitted via the online questionnaire or at the town hall offices.
The questionnaire covers various areas, including equality and participation, social services, education, urban planning and environment, sports, culture and Basque language, local development, and youth.
Additionally, open meetings will be held in the neighborhoods to directly gather citizen contributions and understand the needs of each area: on October 26th at 8:00 PM at the Askizu Association; and on October 27th at 8:00 PM at the Mía Association.
The Getaria City Council invites citizens to participate and present their proposals to help align the 2027 budgets with the needs of Getaria and its residents.
