The Governing Council of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa convened in Azkoitia, at the Insausti Palace, reaffirming its commitment to institutional collaboration and the analysis of municipal projects.

The Governing Council of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa held one of its traveling sessions this morning at the Insausti Palace in Azkoitia, thus reaffirming its commitment to bringing institutional activity closer to the entire territory and its citizens.
Both the General Deputy, Eider Mendoza, and the mayor, Ana Azkoitia, have highlighted the importance of cooperation between institutions. "When institutions work together, we are capable of promoting measures and projects that directly benefit our community and strengthen its development," stated Mendoza.
Prior to the session, both officials held a working meeting where they analyzed the main municipal projects and strategic initiatives for Gipuzkoa. They also visited some of the most recent projects developed in the town.
Mayor Ana Azkoitia also emphasized the value of institutional collaboration, especially "in these times when political disaffection is so evident." "It is important to bring our institutions closer and value them, and where better than in the Palacio de Insausti, the cradle of the Enlightenment in the Basque Country!", she added.
The Palacio Insausti, built in the mid-18th century, is one of Gipuzkoa's most significant heritage and historical landmarks. Today, it houses the headquarters of this historic institution and features offices, meeting rooms, an assembly hall, and a room dedicated to historical memory.
