The V Basque Country Elektrotxaranga Contest, organized by the Azpeitia Old Town Bar Association and the City Council, completed its second day yesterday with two performances.

Yesterday's event featured the competition's first day structured with the usual two performances. The initial session kicked off at 7:00 PM in the main square, featuring Joseto ta Alayak, an elektrotxaranga group from Urretxu-Zumarraga making their debut this year. They paraded through Plaza Txiki and Erdikale, heading towards Perez Arregi square.
Following this, starting at 8:30 PM, Elektrotxufla took the same route in reverse. This group, a classic in the Azpeitia contest and a winner of the first and third editions, livened up the afternoon.
With half of this year's competition concluded, two more sessions are scheduled for the upcoming Saturdays: on May 23rd, Sakatu! and Patxangoi will perform, and on May 30th, OstiKda and Skapaie will conclude the contest.
