The Azkoitia City Council will soon launch a new purchase voucher campaign aimed at boosting local consumption and supporting small businesses within the municipality.

This initiative will commence on April 24, when the period for acquiring vouchers will open, both online and in person. Purchases can be made via the municipal website, or by visiting the Kontzejupe building on April 24 between 10:00 and 13:00, and from 17:00 to 19:00.
A total of 666 vouchers will be available for sale. Of these, 200 will be accessible online, while the remaining 466 will be distributed in person. Vouchers can be used until June 21, the deadline set for their redemption at participating establishments.
Each voucher will cost 30 euros but will allow purchases worth 60 euros, representing a direct subsidy of 50%. The City Council's financial contribution amounts to 19,980 euros, which, in practical terms, will generate a purchase volume of 39,960 euros that will directly benefit the local commerce and service sectors.
Each voucher will consist of six 10-euro tickets, differentiated by color according to the type of business where they can be used. This division aims to promote balanced consumption across the municipality's various commercial sectors, preventing spending from concentrating in a single area and ensuring aid reaches a greater number of businesses. Among the system's unique features is the orange ticket, which is divided into two five-euro vouchers to facilitate its use for smaller purchases. To distribute the aid among as many people as possible, each citizen may acquire a maximum of two vouchers.
The colors of the tickets will determine the establishments where they can be redeemed. The pink ticket is for food businesses, such as butcher shops, fishmongers, greengrocers, or beverage stores. The orange can be used in bakeries, bars, restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, candy stores, and market stalls with farm products. The green ticket is aimed at the fashion and accessories sector, including clothing stores, footwear stores, sports shops, haberdasheries, and jewelry stores. The blue will be reserved for services related to personal care and health, such as hairdressers, beauty centers, dental clinics, opticians, pharmacies, or herbalists. The purple will cover a wide variety of the service sector, from printing houses and stationers to travel agencies, consultancies, gas stations, florists, hardware stores, appliance stores, or IT stores, among others. Finally, the yellow ticket will be general and can be used in any establishment adhering to the campaign.
