The 11th Cider Championship will be held this Saturday in the town of Aizarnazabal. Thirteen producers will participate in the competition, the same number as last year. The participants will be: Eula, Gaztañaga, Aburuza, Añota, Akarregi, Altzueta, Alorrenea, Petritegi, Bereziartua, Egi Luze, Ekain, Urdaira, and Izeta.
The competition will take place in the town square, starting at 6:00 PM. A jury will select the best cider, and attendees will also have the opportunity to taste it. Additionally, pintxos will be available.
Last year, Petritegi won the Aizarnazabal Cider Championship, finishing ahead of Alorrenea and Altzueta.
