The Azkoitia team will play against the Navarre-based side, with the return leg scheduled for October 3rd in La Rioja. CD Tedeón finished last season in sixth place in the Riojano Regional Preferente league. Carlos Pascual, Tedeón's coach, stated during the draw that the Azkoitia team was one to avoid due to their tournament experience, but added that they would approach the match with "all the enthusiasm," aiming to decide the tie at home.
