This year, the 'Maiatza Saltsan' program has been renamed 'Sortzaileak Saltsan'. This initiative seeks to highlight the work of Zizurkil's creators and offer residents the opportunity to enjoy culture and participate in multidisciplinary workshops.
Several workshops have been organized throughout May. Some will be aimed at children, held in schools. Others will be for residents over 16 years old, taking place in various locations around the municipality. The adult workshops will last two hours and will be offered free of charge, but prior registration will be required.
Registration can be done up to two days before the start of each workshop, beginning today. To register, you must write to bulegoa@zizurkil.eus or call 943 69 10 12 (extension 3). The only exception will be the activity on May 31st, for which no prior registration will be necessary.
The council has emphasized that Zizurkil boasts creators from many disciplines, and through this initiative, it has invited citizens to discover their work and enjoy culture.
Among the adult workshops are an illustration workshop (May 7, at Iriarte kultur etxea), a writing workshop (May 13, in the Plazida Otaño multi-purpose room), a body expression workshop (May 21, at Atxulondo kultur etxea), a workshop on how to make hair buns and espadrilles (May 22, in Joxe Arregi plaza), traditional plaza dances (May 22, in Joxe Arregi plaza), and a wool dyeing workshop (May 28, at Herriguneko Zimiterioa). Additionally, on May 31st, the San Vito Audioguide will be presented, offering an opportunity to explore Zizurkil from a different perspective.
