Mountain running enthusiasts have a significant event this Sunday in Tolosa. The T3T marathon marks its 11th edition with 42 kilometers and 2,800 meters of elevation gain, also serving as a club team championship and a scoring event for the Euskal Herria Championship, attracting top club runners.
The T3T race will start from the central Triángulo at 08:45, with the first finishers expected around 12:45. This year's route will run in the opposite direction to the original, following the sequence of Erroizpe, Uzturre, and Ernio peaks.
Meanwhile, the T2T race, covering 24 kilometers and 1,600 meters of elevation gain, celebrates its 9th edition as a regional benchmark. All 475 bibs have been sold, including 139 for women, who will attempt the course passing through Uzturre and Erroizpe. The start is at 09:30, with an estimated arrival at 11:30.
As a new feature, the Tolosa City Council will provide a shuttle bus service to Elduain to alleviate vehicle traffic and parking issues. The service will operate from Santa Clara on Sunday between 09:00 and 12:00, covering the route to and from Elduain, a passage point for the races. Organizers encourage participants to use this transport option.
