Tolosa and Aurrera reach the Basque Pelota Clubs League final

Two clubs will compete for the 2026 title this Sunday at the Beotibar fronton, with significant cash prizes.

The clubs Tolosa and Aurrera from Leitza will compete in the final of the 2026 CMO Esku Pilota Kluben Liga championship, this Sunday at the Beotibar fronton.

The Tolosa and Aurrera teams from Leitza have secured their place in the final and will face each other this Sunday at the Beotibar fronton. The championship will feature three matches: in the cadet, junior, and senior categories. The first match will begin at 10:45 AM.
Tolosa played their semi-final against Larraun Pilota Elkartea at the Betelu fronton, winning 2-1. In the cadet category, Tolosa's Jurgi Landa and Jon Lasa defeated the Ijurko-Sotil pair (10-5, 10-5). In the junior category, Aitor Perurena and Aitor Etxeberria needed three games to overcome Nazabal-Telletxea (10-4, 9-10, 5-3). However, in the senior category, the Galartza-Sotil pair beat Tolosa (10-3, 10-3), as their qualification for the final had already been decided.
Meanwhile, the Aurrera team from Leitza earned their spot in the final by defeating Lazkaoko Lapkeri 2-1 in the semi-final held at the Labrit fronton in Pamplona. The cadet category match was won by the Navarrese team, the junior category by the Gipuzkoan team, and the victory in the senior category was decided with a 2-0 result in favor of Aurrera.
The winner of the final will receive a prize of 3,000 euros, in addition to the trophy, championship belt (txapela), and a Lacturale product package. The runner-up will receive 2,000 euros and product packages. The third-placed club will get 1,000 euros and product packages, and the fourth-placed team will receive 500 euros and product packages.
