The Larraul Town Council has organized several events for San Juan, including a session to prepare ointments on June 20th and the traditional 'barrikotea' and bonfire lighting on San Juan's Eve, June 23rd.

On June 20th, in Larraul, a workshop will be held to prepare an ointment called '7 belar'. Participants will take a walk through the mountains to gather wild plants and herbs, and then prepare the ointment with some of the collected materials. Afterwards, those interested can stay for dinner, a shared meal where each person will bring something pre-arranged. To participate in this workshop, pre-registration is essential by calling 634 289 327 or emailing kultura@larraul.eus.
Furthermore, on June 23rd, San Juan's Eve, a bonfire will be lit in the village. Starting at 18:30, a community effort ('auzolan') will take place to prepare the bonfire. At 20:30, a 'barrikotea' will be held; the council will provide drinks, but attendees must bring their own food. The bonfire will be lit around 22:00. Following this, there will be a free music session, with attendees encouraged to bring their own instruments.
Those wishing to participate as volunteers in the organization should contact the town council's culture department.
