The summer cultural offering will kick off on July 12 in Larramendi square, led by the street theater company Eraitsi SL. The program includes events for the entire month, such as the clown show by Bea Larrañaga, performances by the Tolosako Udal Musika Banda (Tolosako Municipal Music Band), and the vertical dance performance by Zuhamu. In August, there will be performances by the choir Ignacio Arakistain and Hodeiertz, a reading of the 1936 Book Burning, and concerts by Petti and Etxeko Uzta.
On September 11 and 12, Zumardiaundi will host the main offerings. On the first day, there will be dance performances by IOI Haatik and Jone San Martin, and concerts from the music projects Mugan and Bele Lide Hernando. On the second day, Kattalin eta Nenufarrak, Bengo, and Gere will perform, and the play J.M.Brutal will also be showcased.
Furthermore, on September 12, the Tolosaldea Creators' Market will be held in Zumardiaundi, starting at 11:00 AM. Those wishing to participate in this market, which offers an opportunity to discover artisans and producers from the region, have until July 16 to register by emailing kultura@tolosa.eus. Producers working in clothing, screen printing, painting, and jewelry are invited to showcase their creations and strengthen their mutual connections.
Throughout July, there will also be film screenings at the Leidor cinema on Sundays and Mondays. The program can be consulted on the Tolosa.eus website.
The summer cultural program will also extend to the rural neighborhoods as part of the 'Beste plazak' (Other Squares) initiative. To attend the performances, a free round-trip bus service will be available. The bus will depart one hour before the performance starts from the stop on San Frantzisko promenade. There will be options to travel to Aldaba on August 29, Bedaiora on September 5, and Urkizu on September 26. Although the service is free, advance registration is required by writing to kultura@tolosa.eus, specifying the number of seats and contact details.
Culture will fill the squares of the region throughout the summer with a diverse range of events extending to the neighborhoods.
