The San Martin Auzoa association in Alegia has announced the preliminary program for this year's Hat Route, featuring a series of workshops and talks throughout May, ahead of the main event scheduled for June 7.

The aim of this program is to bring the world of hats closer to the public from various perspectives and to encourage participation. These activities will complement the main event taking place on June 7.
Among the workshops, hat personalization will be held this Saturday at the Koko Deko store. On May 16 and 22, Telarista Urbana will host sessions on creating caps and hats from recycled fabrics, and on May 29, the Muchas Telas store will focus on component creation. Additionally, social media content will be generated: every Thursday of the month, Un Rincón para Tik will offer live sessions on styling; Tocados OH will provide tips on hat care, and Ruiz de Azua pharmacy will offer advice on skin protection.
On June 7, alongside the route, Donosti Lindy Hoe will perform a swing dance in Xabier Zubiri square at 4:00 PM, and a concert for those wearing hats will be held at Bar Lobo at 5:00 PM. A new Txapelarte exhibition will also be organized.
Since its inception in 2023, the Hat Route has established a strong network among creators and merchants, with the goal of engaging the public with the world of hats from diverse viewpoints.
