The merchants' association Tolosa&Co has announced the expansion of its Gogoko service to businesses in Ibarra, allowing residents of Tolosa and Ibarra to shop online at local stores.

The merchants' association Tolosa&Co has extended its Gogoko service to include businesses in Ibarra. This initiative enables residents of both Tolosa and Ibarra to make online purchases from local shops in either municipality, benefiting from a convenient home delivery service.
Since its inception in 2019, the service has allowed customers to place their shopping lists in the mornings via WhatsApp messages, specifying the products they require. These can range from food, fashion, toys, or any other necessity. Until the delivery time, items are acquired from local stores and then delivered in the afternoon with complete ease. The service also offers advice for price inquiries or gift ideas.

The Gogoko service allowed local establishments in Tolosa to make a unified leap into digital commerce, with a 24-48 hour delivery strategy.

Gogoko was created seven years ago with the aim of enabling Tolosa's local establishments to collectively transition to digital commerce. This achieved greater visibility and created a platform where all stores had a sales point, eliminating the need for each to create their own individually. This service set a precedent that is now expanding to the neighboring town of Ibarra.
To announce this expansion, a humorous advertising spot has been produced, featuring Antton Telleria as the presenter. The advertisement plays on the healthy rivalry between Tolosa and Ibarra, promoting the unity of both sides of the Oria river with a common goal: supporting local commerce.
