Amezketako festivities have enjoyed an unbeatable atmosphere throughout the weekend. A comprehensive program was organized, drawing significant public participation. The events began in the afternoon, with the Burrunba elektrotxaranga enlivening the town.
At 8:00 PM, a costume parade took place in the square, followed by the awarding of the prize for the best costume. The celebration continued at 11:00 PM with a romería by the group Iratzar and bingo.
This year's paella contest featured 13 participants. The first prize was awarded to Arkaitz Jauregi and Xabier Artola.
The festivities have highlighted the importance of community, and the media outlet ATARIA has launched a challenge to gain new subscribers in the 28 towns of Tolosaldea, to continue as the voice of the region.
