Activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla protested this weekend at the Samaniego palace and the Macan winery, to denounce the alleged connections of the Rothschild family with the Zionist movement.

Pro-Palestinian activists stated that both buildings are owned by the Rothschild family, which, according to them, has had “historical relations” with the Zionist movement and the creation of the State of Israel. Therefore, they declared that they do not want “any Zionist company or family that helps a genocidal state in Euskal Herria”.
The protest began in front of the Samaniego palace and later moved to the Macan winery. The Ertzaintza identified the individuals who participated in the action. The platform noted that this is the fifth such action they have carried out in Euskal Herria.

"Saif and Thiago have been released, but we will continue until the last of the 9,000 hostages is released."
