The municipality of Mungia will transform into a collectors' hub this weekend, hosting the 22nd edition of the Bitxikiak Collectors' Fair, featuring a diverse array of objects and activities.

The Legarda school area and the Sports Center in Mungia will become the focal point for collectors on April 11th and 12th, as the 22nd edition of the Bitxikiak Collectors' Fair takes place. This event will bring together diverse collections, including 1980s toys, cinema memorabilia, dolls, rubber ducks, motorcycles, and miniature cars, among others.
As reported by the Mungia City Council, young people will actively participate by sharing their collecting experiences through talks and exhibitions. The program will also feature cultural performances, such as that by the J.M. Arregi Choir of Mungia, and thematic areas, including dollhouses.
The fair will also include a sales area where industry professionals will offer specialized materials to expand collections. Among other attractions, a LEGO diorama exhibition and a model display, including a notable large-scale train model, will be featured.
Various associations will also participate to showcase their activities. The event will provide an exchange zone to facilitate trading among collectors. As a grand finale, a classic car rally will be held on Sunday morning at the Legarda athletics track.
The fair will be open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 20:30 on Saturday, and from 10:00 to 14:30 on Sunday. Admission is free for all visitors, in an event aimed at promoting collecting and heritage conservation in all its forms.
